Urban Renewal

Urban blight is the antithesis of reason. For whatever reasons, owners of record let their properties go to ruin, then the government agencies charged with cleaning up the mess seize the properties and allow them to continue in their ruined state. This provides the neighborhoods involved with a continuous supply of garbage dumps, firetraps, and hazards to public safety.

This, in fact, was the driving force behind the founding of Res Publica Rationis. Diana Clarion decided that she had had enough of looking at the overgrown lot next to her residence, and undertook to remedy the situation.

Here is a chronicle of the efforts of Res Publica Rationis to raise some urban properties from the dead, in spite of the best efforts of government and owners of record to maintain the wasteland.
